The University of Maryland Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) are hosting a conference on “Social Unrest in the Middle East” on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on the University of Maryland campus. The keynote speakers are Daniel Neep (Georgetown University), Mansoor Moaddel (University of Maryland), and Jonathan Moyer (University of Denver). The conference is sponsored by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
